Dork Diaries is about a girl skating to save a pet store that meant a lot to the boy she liked. Nikki had no clue on how to ice skate. When Nikki and her friends were practicing Nikki had Brandon distract the coach so that she would not see how bad there performance was. Nikki had so many thoughts of giving up and giving her Charity to another girl Mackenzie who had always picked on an teased Nikki. Mackenzie had caused trouble so that she can be the one to swoop in and save the day. Nikki had no chance of beating Mackenzie until a shock came on to the platform skating to Nikki. An it just so happened to be Brandon who help Nikki save the animal shelter with his ice skating dance moves.
